I love you Lord
with all my heart and soul
and mind and strength and will.
I love you when I'm awake
and when I'm asleep.
I love you in the morning
and in the evening.
I love you when I am happy
and when I am sad.
I love you through the good times
and the bad.
I love you in the sunshine
and the rain.
I love you whether skies
are grey or blue.
I love you when I'm on the mountain top
or in the valley.
I love you in sunny or story weather.
I love you in sickness and in health
I love you in life and in death

This reminded me the song, The More I Seek You by Christ for the Nations. The song says, "The more I seek you, the more I find you. The more I find you, the more I love you." And the chorus...it brings tears to my eyes: "I want to sit at your feet, drink from the cup in your hands, lean back against you and breathe, feel your heart beat. This love is so deep, it's more than I can stand. I melt in your peace, it's overwhelming." Your poem is like a follow up to that song - like a psalmist saying "I love you regardless of what my life looks like or what the day feels like. I love you for who are you not what you do." He gives us so many wonderful gifts. I love that you are able to take them each in and offer Him thanks for it! Thank you for sharing this!
